Focus: Defining and clarifying sustainability and identifying elements of planning to be included.

  • Explore key concepts of sustainability and community planning.

  • Work collaboratively to begin planning a project that meets real-world needs using digital tools.

  • Reflect on our learning and make informed choices about what to include in our designs.

 

WILF

  • Clear and thoughtful definitions in the pre-learning task, using your own words.

  •  Active participation with your partner during the planning phase.


First, we will do a little pre learning test to see what you already know about sustainable buildings in your community.

You will need to find the answers for the following questions:

  • How does their location impact the natural environment? (Plant and animal life)

  • How does the location manage their waste?

  • What steps is the location taking into having little negative impact on the environment?

  • What does the community think about this location?
